Okay, so we did take more than just those few pics in the last post. Most of them, however, were taken at Jackson's Orchard. It was a beautiful fall day & Papa needed some rest, so we thought, "What better place to kill some time than Jackson's Orchard?" Plus, we hadn't been in 3 years & desperately needed a fried apple pie & apple slushie! Oh & now we have an excuse to go down their huge slide ... aka - the Belle!

So like all good patrons of the Orchard, we purchased a fried pie before doing anything else. Isabelle woke up from her nap just in time to sample a bite.

We moved on to the apple cider slushie. What better way to learn how to use a straw than with a slushie. Do you know that they don't serve straws with their drinks at restaurants in Niger? What a shame!

Should've purchased a large slushie because Izzy would not let us have it back!

Next, onto the Slide! Can you see the excitement on her face?

She loved it!

Moving on, we stopped by to see the animals. During the weekdays the petting zoo is closed but you can still see some of the animals. Isabelle, of course, loved the donkey but was a little confused why it was behind a fence! All of her donkey friends run free!

We tried the giant play place made of hay but she was a little intimidated by the older kids jumping hay bales over her head.

She was definitely glad to see the light of day again & get out of that creepy red tent!

A little costume change & it was time to take pictures with the pumpkins. After about 20 meltdowns & 100 tries to get her to smile, we got 2 good pics! She was not happy about leaving the slide & sitting for pictures.
PS - Thanks Terry & Aunt Badanda for the cute clothes!!!
