north cackalacky

After leaving Myrtle Beach, we headed north to my sister's house in Salisbury, NC. We made a little side-stop at IKEA. I will tell you that no one told us that you need a map to get through that store, so our "side-stop" ended up being a 2 hour stop. But we got tons o' stuff for the crate & were so thankful that there was a store only 30 minutes from my sister's house!

We love hanging out in Smallsbury (as my sis likes to call her wonderfully quaint town). We got to spend a few nights there & Isabelle just loved hanging out with her cousins. I'm not scared to admit that I love that Salisbury has a Krispy Kreme, too! You can never go wrong with a town that has KK!

Who doesn't love a little baby snuggling? Awwww! If only Luke would do that now!

Izzy & Chord skyping GB!

Okay, be honest ... is this creepy or cute? Cousins taking a bath together? They obviously didn't care one way or the other!

Izzy & Emory. Em's about 4 1/2 months older than Isabelle so it makes them the cousins that are closest in age. They love each other, as you can tell!

However, Isabelle can only handle so many pictures! Gotta love her!

And just when she gets in the mood again, Chord had all he could handle!! But seriously, 4 kids under 4 with one good picture ... not gonna happen!

Emory was SO sweet with Luke! He's getting in practice for being a big brother to Miss Lena who is due in November!

My sis took us to this awesome park in their town. It's a HUGE park that had a train, a place to feed ducks, Cheerwine Icees, a snake exhibit ... seriously, a very fun Sunday afternoon! And if you don't know what Cheerwine is, you are NOT from the South!

This child LOVES trains. L-O-V-E-S trains!

After the park, we came back to do a little early Independence Day celebration with some sparklers. Isabelle loved them!!

And this was Luke's thoughts on the matter!
